1 year, 10 Asian Countries: One epic food discovery journey!


In the year (2016-2017), I fit all my stuff in two backpacks and went on a culinary journey across Asia. I traveled far and wide, discovering and learning about different foods culture interning under anyone willing to teach a curious learner. From Head Chefs in Metropolitan Cities to a housewife making her signature staple food in a small Village in India; From deep fried spiders in Cambodia to delicious snake soup in Hong Kong or stirring a big pot of steaming daal that feeds 100,000 people a day in a temple in India - I never say no to an experience.


This website talks about my one-year journey as I traveled, ate and cooked my way through Asia. 

In 2020 I founded Teig & Füllung, a south German Street Food concept.
